3rd Annual BHS Hockey Alumni Game quickly approaching!!!!
The Barrington Broncos Hockey Club is celebrating more than 20 years of High School Hockey Excellence. This proud tradition was fostered by the play of our alumni and supported by our alumni families. Over the years we have lost touch with many of you and we’d like to reconnect with you all. Along with our new web site, we have a new focus on building the Bronco hockey tradition. We need your help and we want to include you in the fun.

Blackhawks & AHAI Announce Community Ticket Initiative

The Chicago Blackhawks and the Amateur Hockey Association of Illinois are excited to announce a community ticket initiative conducted in the form of a youth hockey random drawing to purchase tickets for the 2009 NHL Winter Classic.
The Blackhawks and AHAI, in conjunction with the NHL, will make available $25 limited view tickets to AHAI members for purchase. To meet qualifications for the youth hockey drawing, applications must be filled out by the AHAI Member's parents using the player's USA Identification Number. If selected, one ticket-holder must be 18 years of age or under. There will be no exceptions and applications that do not meet the requirements will not be processed. Applicants will be required to provide an active USA Hockey Identification number that was active as of October 15th, 2008 and show their USA Hockey card upon entrance to the game. Youth players should also wear their hockey jersey to the Winter Classic. Registration will open at 11:00am CT on Wednesday, November, 5th 2008 and remain open through on or about 10:59am CT on Friday, November, 28th 2008. Tickets.com will notify winning selections via email by December 8th, 2008. The winners will receive a password to log onto tickets.com and purchase their seats. Winners are selected randomly through a drawing to purchase tickets. Winners are not guaranteed as tickets are based on availability during the pre-determined time frame. Welcome to the Home of the BBHC
The Barrington Broncos Hockey Club (“BBHC”) strives to provide students in good standing at Barrington High School an opportunity to play hockey at the highest level available for their age group, while simultaneously representing their high school and fellow students through athletics. BBHC will provide its playerswith the highest level of training available in any program. The BBHC will focus on developing a feeder program and a varsity program that can compete with any high school or midget program.
The combination of development through teamwork, respect and commitment, in addition to the dedication it will take to compete effectively at these high levels of competition, will develop character and skills in BBHC players which can be used throughout their lives.High school hockey in Illinois is a club sport organized under the American Hockey Association of Illinois (AHAI). The Barrington Broncos Hockey Club was organized in 1972 and is affiliated as a club sport with the Barrington High School. The Barrington Broncos Hockey Club is a separate organization responsible for its own revenues and expenditures and does not receive any monetary assistance from the high school. Varsity letters and junior varsity awards are provided by Barrington High School.
