Barrington Broncos Hockey Club

Rob returns to the Chicago area after an excellent Division 1 college hockey career at the University Illinois at Chicago. He is the record holder at UIC for Power Play goals and the CCHA record holder for PP goals by a freshmen. After his playing days at UIC Rob signed with the Detroit Redwings organization and played professionally over 8 seasons. Rob won the Colonial Cup with Muskegon Fury in 2002. He brings a wealth of hockey experience and 15 plus years coaching experience to the program. Rob is the current Hockey Director for the Barrington Redwings and the Broncos and will oversee all facets of the JV and Varsity programs for the Broncos.  Coach Hutson will be the Co-Head Coach of both the Varsity and JV teams.

Coach Mike McPartlin joins the Barrington Broncos coaching staff bringing with him many years of successful hockey coaching experience.  Mike has coached at the High School, AA and AAA levels as well as the USA Hockey Selects.  Coach McPartlin has coached many successful NHL hockey players including Chris Chelios, Bates Battaglia, Joe Corvo, and Matt Jones.  In addition to these NHL players, he has coached many players with hockey careers in college and junior hockey.  Along with Coach Hutson, Coach McPartlin will be the Co-Head Coach of both the Varsity and JV teams.

Coach Dan Pettibone joins the Broncos coaching staff with several years of coaching experience at the AA level.  Dan played college hockey at McKendree University in 2007-2009.  In addition to coaching with the Broncos, Dan is also sering in the United States Army  as a Battalion Medical Logistics Sergeant.  Coach Dan will serve as an Assistant Coach on both the Varsity and JV teams.

Coach Kyle Behrens joins the Broncos after several years coaching at the AA and AAA levels in both the US and Canada.  Kyle played Junior hockey in Calgary and played college hockey at Mount Royal College.  Coach Kyle will serve as an Assistant Coach on both the Varsity and JV teams.

Coach Greg Meola will again be serving as the Goalie Coach for the Broncos.

Coach Martynov is recognized as one of the premier power skating coaches in Russia and the United States.  He has worked with many professional players in both countries and will be joing the Broncos as the Skating Coach for both the Varsity and JV teams.
